To obtain this card, you need to complete either the Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment or the CITB Health & Safety Awareness Course. Additionally, passing the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test is a mandatory requirement.

The CSCS Blue Card is designated for skilled workers in the construction industry who have achieved a vocational qualification, demonstrating proficiency in a specific trade. To get a Blue Card, you must achieve a Level 2 NVQ or SVQ in a relevant construction skill and pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test for operatives.

The CSCS Gold Card is aimed at site supervisors, representing a thorough understanding of supervisory responsibilities within the construction sector. To acquire this card, you need to complete an NVQ or SVQ Level 3 or 4 in a supervisory role in construction, and pass the CITB Supervisors Health, Safety & Environment Test.

To obtain a Black Card, applicants must achieve an NVQ or SVQ Level 6 or 7 in construction management, in addition to passing the CITB Managers and Professionals Health, Safety and Environment Test.
