  • Planning and Controlling Works: Master the skills needed for planning and controlling works, including dealing with TTROs, road space, and reviewing TM Method Statements.

  • The Traffic Safety & Control Officer Role: Detailed insight into the functions and responsibilities of a TSCO.

  • Planning and Controlling Works: Handling TTROs, road space, RCC’s, VMS Signs, assessing work site activities, and enforcing TTRO.

  • Assessment: End of course examination with a requirement of a 75% pass mark.
  • Certification: Successful candidates receive a Lantra Awards certificate and an application form for a TSCO Card.
  • Additional Qualifications for Registration as TSCO: Candidates must also possess a full First Aid at Work Certificate and a recognised Health and Safety Qualification (e.g., 2 Day Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme). A 12AB Foreman qualification (either registration card or certificate of attendance) is also necessary.
