NPORS Rear Tipping Dumper

The key objectives of this training are as follows:

• Provide participants with a fundamental understanding of the industry and the associated hazards, emphasizing their responsibilities as dumper operators.
• Equip participants with a working knowledge of the manufacturer’s handbook specific to the dumper they will operate.
• Ensure participants can locate and identify the major components of the dumper and explain their functions.
• Familiarize participants with key controls on the dumper and explain their functions.
• Train participants to perform all pre-operational checks in compliance with manufacturer’s and legislative requirements.
• Instruct participants on identifying and maintaining Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) suitable for rear tipping dumper operation.
• Prepare participants to conduct essential safety checks at the work area, including considering environmental factors.
• Teach participants how to prepare the rear tipping dumper for use and operate it safely and efficiently.
• Address environmental considerations.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of loading and unloading procedures for transporting the dumper.
• Provide guidance on end-of-shift and shutdown procedures.

The NPORS Rear Tipping Dumper (N205) Course covers the following core topics:

• Industry understanding, hazard awareness, and operator responsibilities.
• Knowledge of the manufacturer’s handbook for the specific dumper to be operated.
• Identification and explanation of major components and key controls.
• Pre-operational checks in compliance with manufacturer’s and legislative requirements.
• Selection and maintenance of appropriate PPE for rear tipping dumper use.
• Safety checks at the work area and environmental considerations.
• Procedures for preparing and operating the rear tipping dumper safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading procedures for dumper transportation.
• End-of-shift and shutdown procedures.

Upon successful completion of the NPORS Rear Tipping Dumper (N205) Training, participants will receive an NPORS certification valid for 5 years. This certification verifies their competence in safely operating a rear tipping dumper, understanding industry regulations, and fulfilling operator responsibilities.
